Fashion

Tonight I visited the textile students' fashion show - it was professionally performed - but I did feel it hard that those who just wanted to design clothes then had to model them - some would be fine with that - but several looked very self conscious and I wondered whether they had had the choice to use another model or whether part of their brief was that they had to show the designs themselves.

The eldest son has been very argumentative all evening - sometimes he can be very thoughtful - at others a complete brute and I wonder whether he is very unhappy or if this is part of a teenage boy's transition to adulthood.
